Early arrivals (optional – any expenses will be borne by attendees as they are not included in the retreat fee).  Group rate will be honored for 1 nights pre and 2 nights post SERGE event, based on availability.  Please note we were only guaranteed a limited number of rooms for Saturday evening if you think you may be coming early please let us know ASAP so that we can get you a room at our discounted rate.  

Newport more than lives up to its reputation as one of the world’s most interesting cities with its countless options for food, music, arts, shopping, recreation, and scenic beauty. 

Note: All social activities from Sunday evening to Wednesday morning include the full group of entrepreneurs and spouses/significant others and are included in the SERGE retreat fee.

Afternoon:

Early check-in may be requested. 

For an additional fee, join fellow SERGERS arriving early, for a Newport Cruise of Narragansett Bay. Marvel at the autumn colors from the water on a cozy fall sightseeing boat tour around Newport Harbor & Narragansett Bay. Depart from Newport wharf at approximately 1 pm & listen to live narration on board with a drink in hand.

Evening:

We’ll enjoy a cocktail reception and buffet dinner at The Pineapple Club, Newport Harbor Island Resort.

Morning:

Group breakfast at Newport Harbor Island Resort, in the Aquidneck.
[Followed by a 1/2 learning program in the Newport Meeting Room]

Afternoon:

Embark on a captivating journey with our private Trolley Tour in Newport.  Enjoy the charm of Newport’s historic buildings and restored homes on this narrated tour covering over 150 points of interest. Take in the rugged beauty of Ten-Mile Ocean Drive and the fabulous mansions along tree-lined Bellevue Avenue, followed by a Grand Mansion Tour.  You will have plenty of opportunity to spend quality time getting to know other SERGE'rs.

Evening:

We will split up into smaller assigned groups and enjoy dinner at some of the best restaurants in Newport.

Group breakfast at Newport Harbor Island Resort, Aquidneck room.

[Followed by the learning program till noon in the Newport room, Newport Harbor Island Resort]

Group lunch will be in the Aquidneck room.

[Followed by the learning program till 4:00 pm in the Newport room, Newport Harbor Island Resort]

Evening:

We’ll enjoy a closing reception in Newport as an opportunity to build on friendships and help each other.
